I’m getting everything ready for my APRA Wisconsin presentation on Wednesday, where I’ll be discussing how to use three of my web sites — SearchTweaks.com, WikiTwister.com, and MegaGladys.com .
To that end I spent this morning updating SearchTweaks, changing some things around and killing some bugs. Unfortunately the local news search is going to stay in a separate tab for now — it’s fairly complicated and I’m afraid if I try to integrate it in a hurry it’s going to blow the whole web site up.
Anyway, SearchTweaks.com is a collection of sixteen search tools in four categories — Query Builders, News-Related Search Tools, Time-Related Search Tools, and Search Utilities — designed to make Google searches more fruitful/useful. It is free to use, free of ads, and designed for desktop use.
